Cale Alit - inspiritana
Hey, my friend!
Let me tell you a bit about me....
Hey, my friend!
Let me tell you a bit about me....
I go by the name of Cale Alit. I am a passionate musician, yogi, sound healing practitioner, philosopher, traveller, author and - for some - a spiritual guide.
As a multi-instrumentalist playing the Persian Santoor (traditional instrument from Iran), didgeridoo, guitar, Turkish kanun, harmonica, djembe and singing, my musical output can be versatile ranging from melancholic ambient music and soft healing sounds to full-power shamanic chants and tribal-style didg and beat.
The musical project inspiritana is my channel for all that musical creative flow - with clear focus on healing and uniting through music.
I believe in the power of presence, music, sound to help us connect with our inner selves, go beyond limitations of the ego and support the well-being and healing.
Already as a child, I pondered a lot about the meaning of life. I remember meditating on death for the first time around the age of 8. It came out of curiosity but then I was fascinated by that experience and kept contemplating about death.
More than 10 years later I got to know Yoga and meditation and found out that it was these practises and the higher awareness that comes with them that I had been yearning for a long time.
Since then, my desire to expand, liberate and find "truth" has inspired me to a conscious and intense lifestyle, travelling full-time for more than eight years, on my quest to self-discovery. I am fascinated by the consciousness and awareness and I love to do my best to help other people be more present - as a musician, a yoga teacher, a friend, a healer and just a dude who has not lost the sense for the wonder of life.
Over the years I developed my own concept of sound journeys that has opened completely new doors as a facilitator and artist. As a fusion of concert, sound therapy and shamanic ritual, I use instruments like the 72-stringed Persian Santur, didgeridoo, guitar, singing bowls and my voice to create immersive soundscapes that help people relax, heal, rediscover life, and connect with their inner selves.
I also host and organize singing circles, play music for different kinds of ceremonies, or perform on stage. Often times, I work together with other amazing musicians and friends.
I have been fortunate to play at festivals like the Ancient Trance and New Healing in Germany or the Awakening Sense in Mexico, and have organised hundreds of healing music events like sound healing journeys and singing circles - especially in Mexico, Germany and India.
I also offer workshops and classes on conscious music and a variety of instruments.
Musically, I have been influenced by a wide range of genres and artists. I love ambient, ethno, world, spiritual, mantra music, as well as electronic music, rap, hip hop, and lofi. Some of my favorite artists include The Album Leaf, Xavier Rudd, Bhagavan Das, Nils Frahm, Sina Bathaie, Krishna Das, Shlohmo, Margot Reisinger, Maeckes, Sigur Ros, R.E.M, Olafur Arnalds and Estas Tonne.
As a yoga teacher, I am capable to teach a great variety of styles yet I focus on Ashtanga Yoga primarily as I have many expertise in teaching and practising. I love to teach this traditional method in a contemporary manner.
As a spiritual companion, I am dedicated to helping people connect with their inner selves and find peace and contentment in their lives. This dedication ultimately roots in my own most-inner calling to find something that goes beyond the ephemeral.
Feel free to send me a message and reach out to me with any questions, ideas or wishes for collaboration.
Bless you!
